Frequently Asked Questions
What's your payment/
cancellation policy?
Payment is required at or before the end of a particular lesson. Cash, Venmo and Zelle are preferred - cards are accepted with a 4 percent surcharge to cover transaction fees.
Students should always confirm attendance at least the night before a class. If you're registered for a class, you will receive an email 48 hours prior asking for confirmation - no reply is assumed to mean attendance until further notice. No class payment is due if a lesson is cancelled before midnight the day before a lesson. Half payment is required for same-day lesson cancellations 2 hours or more prior to class start time. Lessons cancelled within 2 hours will be charged in full.
What if I'm not sure how my skills are?
We have developed a unique Spanish diagnostic test that can help us determine where your strengths and areas of improvement lie. This pre-test can be used for determining group class placement, or to evaluate priorities for independent learning.

Is there homework?
The purpose of Spanish Pa-Ti is to provide the best possible resources for people to efficiently and enthusiastically learn Spanish. While homework can help with this, we don't believe that tends to work out too well when people are forced to work on assignments as it takes the joy out of the matter - not to mention that many of us have big kid responsibilities that come first!
For every class, optional take-home assignments will be made available for completion and review.
I'm so busy! Can I really get good at Spanish?
One of the most important tricks to effective language learning is finding ways to learn that don't feel boring or difficult. A lot of this involves finding and using resources such as music and audiobooks which can be used while accomplishing other essential tasks.
Our group prides ourselves in having countless close connections with people from across the Spanish-speaking world. Whatever your interests and availability may look like, we're happy to establish a customized assortment of valuable materials to move you forward.
